Province exempting Canada Disability Benefit as income to protect recipients from benefit reductions

The Ontario government intends to exempt the Canada Disability Benefit (CDB) as income so that social assistance recipients would receive the benefit without seeing a reduction in their provincial social assistance payments or entitlements. The changes would help recipients of the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), Ontario Works and the Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities (ACSD) program receive their maximum entitlements.

🎨 Registration is now open for Camp Kaleidoscope

An all Day Summer Respite Camp for children diagnosed within the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Children at Risk’s objectives with a Specialized Camp is to provide a recreational camp that will accommodate the deficits of autism such as communication, socialization and behaviour seamlessly whilst allowing the Camper to have the stimulation, excitement and fun. Summer camp is a right of any child regardless of the severity of their disability.

An integrated OT/ABA social group that uses classic board games to teach turn-taking, emotional regulation, and flexible thinking in a fun, peer-focused setting.
